We fear the Madawa because they want to take our land and cut down our precious godwoods trees. We also fear the Lakali. Even though they traded with us, they still are a threat because they also want to take our land and use it to mine iron. Why they want iron, we have no idea. We will not give up our land. It has been in our family for numbers of years and we will NOT give it to anybody but our future Dabians!

A nation that impacts the Dabi the most would be a nation that has good resources and is religious. The Dabi could trade with them for the rocks they mine. Since the Dabi are very religious and pray to the spirits, their religions could either clash or build together so it could go either way.

The Borka Simulation: Creating a New Nation
Welcome toHow do the home page forpeople of your region! This site will function as your questionnaire. Itregion decide on leadership succession (who takes over if leader is here thatunable to lead or if you will developwant a better understanding of your region. The pages ofchange)?
When deciding who is our next leader, it is very simple. Every couple 3 years or so, there is the questionnaire are listed under navigationfestival of Dabi. That is when everyone in the column totown comes together and holds a competition. The competition differs every time, but whoever wins the left. Each pagecompetition, becomes the new leader. It is made up ofvery exciting to watch! You have to be over 16 to participate, which stinks because my mom said i would make a numberwonderful leader, but i am only 15. :(
How does an individual or a group come to control powers of questions. By completing these questions, you will exploregovernment in your region's cultural, economic, and social heritage. You will also identify and describeregion?
In Dabi we have a group called the "systemsVog Nocs. The Vog Nocs are the people who control powers of institutions that make, enforcegovernment. They control this by holding elections and interpret laws" for your region, i.e. its government! On other pages you will exploremaking sure all the goals you wish to achieve through unification withpeople have a say in what the government does. They are very nice people.
What other regions. Finally, it is also here whereregions do you will identifyget along with best? Why?
My friends Nerual,Yllom, Ira and I (ila) get along with the ideal structureLakali very well. Our parents don't like them all too much because they say the Kankali tell them they pay far too little for the new government and what the rightswe give them. That kind of stuff doesn't matter to my friends and responsibilities of its citizens should be.
The objectives forthough. We like the questionnaire are:
To answer all of the questions; To fully develop each answerLakali because they trade us nice trendy new clothes and enhacedelicious foods!
As it withrelates to the kind of detail that keeps the reader reading;
To answer each questioncriterion participation, who will be allowed to participate in a manner that reflects and/or develops the culture ofnew government? How will they be allowed to participate? Which system would be ideal for your region;
To inject voice into your responses; To write inregion? Why? Is there a tonesystem that is natural, adds interest,you will not tolerate? Why?
In the new government, anyone will be allowed to participate. They will be able to help vote and have the freedom to let the government know if they disagree. In Dabi we have a regional system. A regional system is appropriatejust perfect for our little town because the purpose and audience;
To demonstrate your understanding ofhomesteads are so divided.The system we will not tolerate is the government systems terminology by using it widely and correctly;
To use effectivelyunitary system because in Dabi we like everyone to have fair say.
What would be the ideal relationship between the mechanicsexecutive and conventionslegislative branches of standard written English; To show engagement in the writing by process.
Grading:
Therenew national government? How will bethis system benefit your region?
In Dabi we have a single grade given forparliamentary system. This benefits our region because this way when the completed questionnaire.
Your percentageleader is doing something us citizens of this grade will be determined based on your participation in the questionnaire's completion.
Your participation will be determined byDabi disagree with the extentlegislatives can just vote them out and number of edits listed underpick someone better.
If unification were to occur, who do you envision controlling these resources, the "History" tab, and/orindividual, the content and numberregion, or the new national government?
Well i invision that the region would be controlling the resources. Thats just me of messages posted undercourse.
How do your people believe that other groups might affect the "Discussion" tab.
WARNING! If there is no evidencenegotiation process?
First off, the Kankali. They may affect negotiation process because they gossip a lot. The Kankali told us that you ever accessed and edited the wiki, you will receiveLakali pay us too little, which is most likely true but we still don't know for sure. The Lakali help us out a zero.
Before you start reviewlot, but they also bring us down too. They affect the Student Code of Ethics.negotiation process very much. We get our cloth,tools, foods and our entertainment.

What we want for our executive branch if for one Dabian from each homestead to represent the exective branch. Also, we would like to have a meritocracy. This means that we would want the best herbalist or miner to come forth and run Dabi. We think that this would be the best decesion to make for our region since we have a strong leader to run our community. This structure will benefit this region because our executive will know about the medicine created by the plants. We want a strong leader for our goverment and a good one as well that can relate to our Dabians.
Would the regions be left to enforce and execute the new nation's laws or would you have a national police force and departments for such matters?
The regions would enforce and execute the new nation's laws using their own executive system they already have. This would make it much easier because a national police wouldn't have to be formed. It would also be easier to enforce laws in your region rather than trying to enforce laws in more than just one region.
What would be the ideal structure of the new national government's legislative branch? How will the regions be represented (equally or on the basis of regional population)? How will this structure benefit your region?
The ideal structure of government for our nation would have to be a parliamentary system. The regions would be represented by having one representative from each homestead to represent them. This structure will help our region because we would all be coming together to get things done on a equal platform and we will be able to agree and disagree with our leaders. Also if the country does not agree with the leader we can boot him out of office.

Our ideal structure for our national goverment is a meritcracy. A person becomes a memeber of the judical branch if the people like or don't like a certain person more than another. If someone is accused of a crime in another region and is running for the judical branch, we will either throw him out of Dabi or, depending on how bad the situtation is, we will let it slide and not press charges against him. If the national or regional detemines guilt against the person who did the crime, they would either look at the laws of Dabi and see how bad he or she has broken them or they will just let it slide once again.
Are there freedoms/rights that you would like the new nation to guarantee to all of its citizens? Which ones?
We, the Dabi, believe that all people should have freedoms and rights. Some Dabians would make sure the new nation guarantees all citizens they can mine, own land, be able to farm, and have freedom of religion and beliefs. The last freedom is very important to us since religion is a big part of us and everyone should be allowed to believe what they want like we believe in the spirits of the godswood for example.
What will be the source of authority for the new unified government?
Dabi has chosen that our country we will have the traditional authority because it will work best for our people. Our country needs something based on history, myth, and religious text considering our belief in the gods above and our rich history.

The institutions and processes from which our land of Dabi creates and interprets laws would be by letting the presidency enforce the laws and help pass them.
Describe the institutions and processes by which your region interprets the law.
Our region of Dabi has created an institution very similar to a place called the Supreme Court we have recently heard of and those people would interpret laws that are decided by our other branches of government.

What would you be willing to give up in exchange for unification? Consider your groups values, institutions of government, and liberties. Would you be willing to limit your ability to make, enforce and interpret laws for your region? What about your region's natural resources? Would you be willing to allow the new national government to own, control and distribute any of your region's natural resources?
We would be willing to share our iron, coal, bronze, copper and tin, if other regions are willing to share their own special resources. The Dabi people would also be willing to limit our ability to govern, but we would be able to still have a say in the national government. We would only allow the new national government to own, control and distribute our regions national resources if one of our own Dabian could be a part of the national government. This way they would make sure to use what is ours wisely.

If the Madawans invaded your region, how would you respond?
In one of our homestead meetings, someone brought up the previous attacks by the Madawa. We knew we needed a plan of action in case it happens again. The leaders decided that we would gather all of the Dabi military men and women with their mining tools and other weapons, owned by Dabi's armed forces, to help guard our region and if needed, fight. No one will be able to get through to the Dabi mountains to mine on our land.
Describe the defense force of your region. How is it funded and supplied?
Our defense in our country is made up of military men and/or woman. Along time ago before the Dabi’s were mining mountains or farming and were made up of nomadic tribes. There was a rule passed because all of the tribes were far from one another that one man or woman must volunteer in order for their family to be citizens in Dabi. Now this has worked for centuries, in order for us to receive the money to keep our weapons sharp and our troops together we take 2% of everyone’s yearly earrings and put it towards our armed forces. This has worked for thousands of years and will continue to work in the future.
