A new disease, highly contagious, threatens your people? What steps would you take? How do you balance the needs of the individual versus the safety of the group?

An herbalist in our region who cured cancer, Alakimatuaschi, would gather his best Dabi herbalists and would find a cure for the new disease just like he cured cancer. Of course we would put the safety of our group first because our homesteads are fairly small and could spread to everyone. Besides, unlike some other regions, we are kind people who help anyone and everyone who is in need.

What three values do your people consider most important?

Surrounded by godswoods trees, there lies a small room only known to the most important people. All ancient documents and treasures are hidden inside including a list of numerous rules and values. The three values we consider the most important are trust in the gods of the trees, wind and land, helping one another, and praying to the spirits concealed in the precious godswood trees. *BEWARE: Anyone who shares this sacred information will be punished and sent to Mount Jailji for the rest of their lives.*

What is it like to be a teenager in your region? How do they participate in the decision-making process of your region?

In a recent documentation about a group of Dabi teenagers, they stated: "Its great to be a teenager in the Dabi region because we get to hang out with each other in our homesteads everyday. But what our parents don't know is that some nights, we sneak over onto Lakali land and TP all their trees. We also tell stories to our younger siblings about the spirits in the godswood trees coming out and getting them while they are sleeping. But please don't tell any of the homestead leaders because we would be forced to mine with our parents in the high mountains." Teenagers also help the elders in making descisions for our homesteads and sometimes even our region. They also help think of different activities to hold in our region.

How are marriage partners chosen by your people? Do you recognize marriages of people outside of your region? Remember to incorporate the values and beliefs of your region.

In my fine country of Dabi, we don’t not care to whom you shall marry, although it is a tradition for the parents of the children to go up to a godswood tree and to give sacrifices to the gods to help them decide who their children should marry. It all started many moons ago in the land of Dabi. There was a baby girl born the parents had no official plans of whom she was to wed so they put their crops as a sacrifice and one day a boy sent down from the clouds was bestowed upon the family and said the great godswood has sent me down from the majestic heavens above to marry your daughter in 15 years. So as long as this has been tradition marriages in our lands have been working out just amazingly.

Describe a house your people might live in.

The houses that our ancestors had chosen for us were caves surrounded by godswood. We live in these caves with our homesteads of mainly 10-30 families. The big caves are also nearby the mountains we mine. They are surrounded by fertile grounds and prospering forests. There happens to be babbling brooks and plenty underground streams. They have large grassy hills for our livestock, and ponds scattered through the lands. Since we are close to the mines our homesteads are a perfect destination of our homes.

What does your region do about the issue of mind-altering substances such as fermented grain or wine?

Here in Dabi we have our own ways of dealing with the so called “rebellious souls”. Usually when dealing with Fermented grains or wine we banish them to a mountain far off called Mount Jailji. Where the serve there term or live the rest of their lives you could call it a jail if you will. When/if they are to return they are usually shunned for the rest of their days. It is not because we the people of Dabi are rude it is simply because we do not want people in our town to be under the influence of these harmful substances and want people to understand how dangerous these iteams could be.
